Description

El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure (USA) is a wooden roller coaster manufactured by Intamin – we have supplied to the wooden structure. The installation was carried out by skilled American workers. Due to the perfect preparation of Heiko Wulff the project was handled completely without complaints. According to our information, it was the first time ever, that impregnated and tailored timber from Germany was supplied to the United States.

El Toro is having its first departure of 76°, the steepest wooden roller coaster in the world, solving the previous record holder Balder (70°) at Liseberg for the steepest wooden roller coaster in the world. With the lift height of 55.2 m and a length of 1,340m, the railway is one of the largest railways in the world. The maximum speed is 112.7 km/h.

Currently El Toro was voted # 1 of wooden roller coasters again in the annual internet voting of the fans for the third time in a row (2010, 2011, 2012)!
