timber engineering, nail plate timber trusses, timber frame construction up to turn-key projects

As an established timber building company Cordes Timber Engineering has claimed very clear aims for the future: Our customers and partners will be in the spotlight of our efforts! Service and flexibility are the essential pillars of this endeavor.

For a long time the basis of our structure is the manufacturing – which means the supply for other companies. The radius of action in this regard has been constantly expanded and partially already occupies the whole of the Federal Republic of Germany. In recent years it has been increasingly completed by other areas of activity, which is documented today in a wide range of services. In particular some special projects such as wooden roller coasters have been carried out several times as an international activity. But of course, besides this, the “common” carpentry is a task, which will not be neglected – that’s part of our assessment of a customer-oriented strategy.

Apart from the manufacturing we will realise the assembly or give assistance, if our customer wants so – for the complete service. To realise larger projects, we come back to the support of our partners (we form work groups and firm collaborations).

education and training

Our flexibility and versatility has secured the jobs of our employees, which was rewarded with a very low turnover rate. Of course, our staff are trained on various training schemes and are always up to date.

For a long time we also offer the training as a carpenter (male or female), too. The profession of a carpenter is modern and versatile, it combines traditional craftsmanship with advanced high-tech knowledge. The carpenter has a broad professional field of activity. For anyone, who likes working with his hands, his head and with a comtuter indoors and outdoors, is in good hands in carpentry and has excellent future prospects. Before starting a teaching we recommend a two-week training to form a good basis for this important decision. Please talk to Ulf Cordes directly.
